The Mid-Century Modern Alexander is an authentic Alexander home meticulously redesigned to capture 1950's glamour and pamper with today’s amenities. The facade has a striking resemblance to the original renderings by architects Krisel Palmer. The interior boasts the exact layout of the original Alexander home, and the furnishings are all in the 1950's and 1960's modern style. With three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a private saltwater pool and spa, everything about this vacation home will delight guests.
Sleek Modern Kitchen
This stunning modern kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals: refrigerator, oven and range, microwave, and dishwasher. Put on a pot of coffee in the morning, toast a bagel or English muffin, and enjoy the sun by the pool or stay inside and grab a seat at the breakfast bar. An outdoor dining table is right off the kitchen. The beam ceilings and globe lighting provide mid-century ambiance and bring depth to the great room, offering a nod to both form and function.
Great Room
The expansive great room features a wall of windows that overlook the pool and nearby palm trees. On one side of the room, a gorgeous white sectional in a semi-circle formation and two luxurious club chairs provide ample seating and a cozy meeting place. Build a fire in the wood burning fireplace and watch the flames, look out at the beautiful blue pool or just sit back and admire the gorgeously designed room. The other side of the room holds the ultra-sleek dining table with space for four. The 1950’s inspired furnishings joined with a touch of modernity render the place just perfect.
Patios
Each bedroom features its own private patio, but the main patio, accessible from the great room, is the best place for sunning. Take a dip in the private saltwater pool or soak in the hot tub, and then soak up the California sun.
Cabana
The cabana, with two club chairs, a glass game table, DVD player, and a bar area, is perfect for relaxing and meditating. Alternatively, it makes a lovely private space for the kids. The laundry room and a bath are located here, and an outdoor shower is steps away.
Alexander Master Suite
This fantastic master suite provides ample privacy for the couple of the house. A beautiful, immaculate bed is framed by matching bedside tables and lamps. In the other half of the room, a white sofa and matching chairs provide a perfect space for reading or sitting with a cocktail. The private master bath features a luxurious GROHE double showerhead. When it’s time to sleep, pull the grasscloth sliding shades across the full-length sliding doors that lead to the private patio.
Desert Suite
The Desert Suite is two separate bedrooms, divided from each other by a sliding pocket door. Each is luxuriously decorated in muted earth tones. The bedrooms feature a queen bed and a double bed, soft linens, and beautiful modern furnishings. The Desert Suite also features a private courtyard patio with views of the San Jacinto mountains.
